Eco-friendly fact: The wool colors used for this toy are natural alpaca shades. No dye was used!

Main Sauvage's knitted toys are entirely handmade, in a fair trade workshop in Bolivia that offers good working conditions and a fair income to illiterate women. This solidarity economy helps improve the living conditions of families and ensure that children receive an education. All cuddly toys are made from pure baby alpaca wool, a renewable, highly ecological natural fiber. They are filled with fiber from recycled plastic bottles. The wool comes from a spinning mill in the Bolivian Andes and is supplied by small breeders. We use the natural colors of the alpaca as much as possible: white, black, gray and brown tones. All our other colors are made with environmentally friendly, non-toxic dyes.
